More Christmas Party Pictures

Our friend, Ross Grogan, was kind enough to take some pictures throughout the party and send them over to me (hooray!). I was so happy to see that he took a few of the food, even if they are a little blurry! Take a look below to see a few more pictures of our first Christmas party:

(Note: I know the above photo is a little blurry but I just had to share the one and only picture I have of all of the food on the table!)

(Note: The following picture is a little blurry, too.)

{Sarah, Meg, and me -- That's the best part of a party, getting to catch up with old friends!}

Now for the desserts... Like the Christmas cocktail, here, the chocolate mousse was a huge hit! It was one of the few things which I had none left over. Not only was it delicious but it was also so pretty and festive! Take a look below:

(Another "Note": The following picture is also staged (see yesterday's post). Since I didn't have a picture showing the dessert display, I thought I'd snap a few so I could remember for future parties. I'm going to get better at taking pictures the night of parties -- I swear!)

Apricot dream bars (above -- on top of cake stand) are delicious! Have you ever had them? My mom was kind enough to make some for me for the party. Also, if you haven't ever had Sam's Mini-Cheesecakes (above -- below cake stand), they're so good! And talk about easy, you can buy them pre-made in the freezer section. Easy, affordable, and delicious, it's like the perfect trio.

... Because you can't have dessert without coffee! Not at least in my book.

That's all for this Christmas party. I must say I loved every bit of it! The decorating, setting everything out, the actual party itself, etc. Although, I did have a wonderful helper in Austin. The morning of the party, I handed him a list of all of the food and how to make it and he did it all for me -- no complaints! So that means not only did he make 99% of the food, he also cleaned everything up. How lucky am I?! So I believe it's safe to say that everyone would agree -- having that kind of a helper makes throwing just about any party easy and fun!
