Happy Fall Break!

I'm so excited -- our school's fall break is tomorrow and Friday! Seriously, I'm in major need of a nice break. I'm not quite sure what this break will entail; I have no real plans. But I can say lots of time will be spent just relaxing. I'm too scared to say that I will do anything productive (i.e., house projects) because that normally sets me up for failure. If I say I'm going to get lots of stuff done, I tend to actually get nothing done. I guess because it then feels like I HAVE to do it and then I dread doing it and then I just don't do it... Following my train of thought? Yeah, didn't think so.

I'm actually thinking that I might read a book. I've always loved reading, but can't seem to find the time to do much of it during the school year. Jen, from Migonis Home, shared what looks like a great book on her blog today. It's called: What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty. Hop on over there to read her summary and take on the book (and lots of other great stuff, too!) -- it sounds like it's right up my alley!

I'll leave you, today, with a picture of some outdoor fall decor I've already accomplished (a little sneak peek)...

... And a view of my neighbor's beautiful tree! I love looking at it every day as I pull in and out of the driveway. I've been noticing lots of radiant trees as I drive around Lexington. I love when we get all of the great fall foliage; isn't that what autumn is all about?!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!
